This aluminum shock tower is an aftermarket RC-scale part designed for the Tamiya WR01 and WT01 platforms. Supplied as a single black anodized piece marked JR-WR101-BK, it serves as a direct replacement or upgrade point for the shock mounting area on either the front or rear of the chassis.

As a structural hop-up, the tower increases local mounting stiffness and provides a firmer anchor for the shock lower mounts compared with standard plastic towers. That change alters the suspension response, helping to reduce unwanted flex under hard cornering and when using stiffer springs or heavier shock oils.

Installation follows standard RC practice, using the chassis’ existing mounting locations and fasteners.
