This is an RC-scale front lower suspension arm designed for the Tamiya XV-01 chassis and produced by JAZRIDER under model XV01-13402-LB. It is offered in light blue and manufactured from machined aluminum to provide a stiffer alternative to typical stock plastic arms.

Functionally this part replaces the stock front lower arm on the XV-01 platform, serving the tuning role of altering lateral stiffness and response in the suspension and steering linkages. Using an aluminum arm can change the car’s feedback at the front end, making small setup adjustments in spring, damper or toe more noticeable during on-road runs.

Installation follows the chassis’ existing mounting points so no chassis modification should be required; standard hand tools such as hex drivers and pliers are sufficient for removal and reinstallation of the arm using the vehicle’s original fasteners. Inspect mounting hardware and ball studs during service and verify free movement through the suspension travel before track use.

For tuning, consider this arm when you need reduced flex at the lower suspension location to achieve crisper turn-in and more consistent cornering on paved surfaces. As with any metal hop-up, note the change in vibration transfer and check other front-end components after fitting.
