This aluminium 7075 damper stay mount is an aftermarket RC-scale part intended for the TAMIYA 1/10 4WD XV-02 PRO CHASSIS. It replaces the standard shock tower base mounting point with a machined metal unit to provide a firmer support for the shock tower and bogie assembly.

Installation is straightforward on a standard XV-02 PRO chassis: remove the original tower base, align the damper stay mount to the existing mounting bosses, and fasten using the original screws. Check thread engagement and chassis alignment before final torqueing to ensure the stay sits flat and the shock geometry is unchanged.

For tuning, this part is used to reduce flex at the shock tower base, which can stabilise suspension feedback during cornering and braking on carpet or asphalt track layouts. It is compatible with typical XV-02 shock setups and does not include shock absorbers or additional hardware, it is supplied as a single replacement mount for hobby maintenance and setup work.
