This aluminium differential case is an aftermarket replacement produced by GPM for TAMIYA XV-02 PRO platforms, designed for use as the front, middle, or rear diff housing in the gearbox. Machined from 7075 aluminium with a silver-edge finish, it serves to stabilise and protect the internal differential gears while offering improved heat dispersion versus standard plastic housings.

Intended role and fitment: this part installs where the original XV-02 PRO diff case sits, replacing the factory piece to provide a firmer mounting surface for the bevel gears and diff components. The silver edging is a cosmetic and thermal aid; it does not change internal gear geometry or gear ratios.

Installation notes: the unit is supplied as a single diff case and the package includes the matching Grade 12.9 black flat head screws 2x6 (4 pcs) for mounting. Verify screw alignment and hole pattern before final assembly, as the screw-hole layout differs from other TAMIYA platforms.

Compatibility warning: this GPM part is designed specifically for XV-02 PRO use and is not compatible with TT-01 or TT-02 gearboxes due to different differential screw hole patterns; do not attempt to force-fit into incompatible gearboxes.
