This stainless steel wheel lock washer and screw set is an aftermarket replacement intended for the centre of the wheel on TRAXXAS 1/18 Latrax Rally models. It replaces direct screw-only mounting with a countersink washer plus flat head screw arrangement to achieve a firmer seating at the hub and reduce axial play.

Included components are listed below and correspond to the wheel centre mounting hardware supplied with the kit.

Why this kit matters: the original wheel hub diameter is 3.5mm, while some stock screws are 3mm and can leave a gap that allows the wheel to shift under load. These countersink washers match the hub diameter and, when used with the flat head screws, sit flush to stabilise the wheel. For installation, confirm the countersink sits fully flush in the wheel face and tighten screws evenly to avoid introducing runout. The set is a simple upgrade to reduce wheel play and help maintain consistent wheel seating during driving and setup changes.
