This steel motor gear is an RC-scale pinion intended for use on TRAXXAS 1/8 X-Maxx platforms, supplied by GPM as TXM014TS. It is a 14-tooth steel motor gear sold as 1 pcs and designed to replace or tune the motor-side gear for drivetrain adjustments.

Installation notes: confirm your motor shaft diameter and mounting method before fitting, slide the gear onto the motor shaft and align the tooth mesh with the spur gear, then secure the gear using the motor’s original locking method. Check mesh under static conditions and recheck after a short test run to ensure no binding occurs.

Tuning role: a 14T motor gear changes the effective gear ratio compared with larger-tooth pinions, generally shifting the balance toward higher top speed and lower initial acceleration.
