Aluminum oil-filled damper set for GT4

This 16pcs oil-filled damper set is an RC-scale suspension upgrade made for the TRAXXAS 4WD GT4 TEC 2.0 platform and produced by GPM under model GT5053FR. The kit focuses on chassis stability by lowering ride height and increasing component rigidity while keeping service and tuning straightforward for track and street-style touring use.

The dampers use 6061 T6 aluminum bodies to reduce flex, paired with higher-concentration damping oil to improve rebound control. Coil springs have been specified with a thicker wire profile to resist deformation during aggressive driving, and the damper shafts are reinforced to reduce bending risk under load. Front units measure 53mm and rear units 50mm, which shortens overall assembly length from previous 55mm references to give a lower centre of gravity for the model.

Installation is conventional for oil-filled dampers: they mount into existing shock towers and lower suspension mounts on GT4-style touring chassis, using the supplied hardware for secure fitment. The kit includes small alloy collars that can be fitted at the upper mounting hole to fine-tune camber and body tilt without altering spring preload, allowing quick setup adjustments for grip balance between front and rear.
