Steel differential gears for E-REVO

This is an RC-scale differential gear set designed for TRAXXAS E-REVO platforms. The kit uses hardened steel with a black finish to provide a stable contact surface under load and a consistent rotational feel inside the diff housing. It is intended as a direct replacement for stock internal gears where the listed compatibility applies.

Installation is a standard diff service procedure: remove the diff cover, extract stock gears, inspect bearings and pinion/spur engagement, and fit the new steel output and spider gears. Check gear mesh and clearance before final assembly, and re-use or replace the supplied O-rings where applicable to maintain diff sealing. Use an appropriate differential grease and verify smooth rotation through the suspension travel.

Tuning notes: steel gears change wear characteristics and heat transfer compared with softer alloys or plastics, so monitor backlash and bearing condition after the first runs. Keep lubrication consistent and avoid over-tightening the diff housing screws which can alter gear mesh.

This set is intended for hobby-level maintenance and upgrades on compatible 1/10 4WD platforms, providing a metal option for diff internals where listed compatibility applies.
