Oversized Motor Base for TRAXXAS FUNCO PRO (8S)

This is an RC-scale motor mounting upgrade designed for heavy-duty 8S setups on TRAXXAS 1/6 Funco Pro and compatible XRT variants. Machined from 7075-T6 aluminum, the alloy base prioritizes rigidity and reduced weight compared with stock plastic parts while focusing strictly on improving motor retention and alignment for large-diameter motors.

The rear fixation uses a bundled tension adjustment layout to keep axial pressure consistent under load, and the side screw locations feature a V-shaped step relaxation to resist loosening from high-speed vibration. The mount accepts 56mm outer diameter high-power motors and lists HobbyWing 5687/5690/56118 and Castle 2028 as example fits from the manufacturer notes. The unit replaces the original plastic gear protection cover, so pairing with a large GPM gear protection cover (max compatible with 28T/1.5 modulus motor gear) is required for full fitment and gear protection.

All fastening hardware is included and partially pre-assembled; medium-strength thread locker is recommended during final installation to maintain long-term stability. The design aims to provide a reinforced, adjustable motor fixing solution for 8S power systems on 1/6 scale sand cars.

Use this alloy motor base when upgrading to large 56mm-diameter motors on 1/6 TRAXXAS sand car platforms to improve mechanical stability and allow safer handling of higher power outputs while maintaining serviceable adjustment points.
