This 7075-T6 aluminum transmission gear cover is an RC-scale upgrade made for the TRAXXAS FUNCO PRO SCALE 2WD SAND CAR platform. Machined with CNC processes and anodized in multiple colors, the cover is intended to protect the motor pinion and spur gear area from sand ingress and abrasion while maintaining a precise fit to the original mounting points.

The part ships pre-assembled in the package and replaces the factory item number 10987. For secure installation on a sand car, use medium-strength screw glue on the mounting screws to prevent loosening from vibration and track impacts. This accessory is designed only for model-scale use and not for full-size vehicles.
