Rear adjustable oil-filled shock for TRAXXAS JATO

This oil-filled rear shock assembly is a direct-fit upgrade for select TRAXXAS 4X4 rear applications, designed to reduce internal friction and help absorb impacts so the model runs with improved rear balance. The body is machined from 6061-T6 alloy and uses a sealed cap to retain oil and resist wear under normal RC use. Threaded shock bodies and adjustable collars let you set ride height and spring preload, while a locking spring perch keeps spring position consistent during running.

Two spring options are included: a gold spring pre-installed with a 1.4mm wire diameter for the installed damper characteristic, plus spare black springs with a 1.5mm wire diameter for a firmer feel. Bleeder screws are provided for easier shock maintenance and oil changes. All packaging accessories are delivered pre-assembled, and the manufacturer recommends using screw thread locker on external fasteners to prevent loosening after installation.

Installation focuses on the rear shock mounts only; verify rear-only compatibility before fitting, and adjust the top spring retainer to change spring preload and effective spring rate as required for surface and driving style.
