Adjustable CVD drive shaft for MAXX

This 10pcs drive shaft set is an aftermarket upgrade designed for TRAXXAS MAXX Monster Truck scale platforms, intended for front or rear drive positions and wheel attachment points. The assembly replaces a cross-head style joint with a constant velocity (CVD) swing joint to improve power transfer under load while keeping rotating mass low.

Construction combines hardened steel joints with a 6061‑T6 aluminum body and a thicker axle section moved from 6mm to 8mm, increasing torsional strength without excessive weight. The hex adapter has been redesigned to a claw-style engagement and the pinhole was removed, producing a firmer interface with the wheel hex and widening track by 2mm per side.

The unit is adjustable to help tune suspension geometry and driveline alignment, and the package includes bearings and shims sized for the thicker axle so installers don’t need to source additional bearings for the upgrade.
