Aluminium arms for TRAXXAS MAXX

This is an RC-scale upgrade kit of aluminium upper and lower control arms designed for the TRAXXAS MAXX monster truck platform. The components replace stock plastic arms to provide a stiffer mounting point for suspension linkages and damper locations, supporting more predictable geometry under heavy use.

The arms are machined from 6061-T6 aluminium and use Delrin (acetal) collars at critical joints to reduce play where ball studs or pins pass through the arm bores. The kit changes the fastener approach by locating pins and securing them with small screws rather than relying on larger threaded fasteners alone, which helps avoid failures from stripped threads.

On the rear side the kit includes thin Delrin shims to reduce the factory gap so the rear arms fit tightly without binding, and the lower arms feature multiple damper mounting holes to allow incremental changes to damper angle for tuning ride height and handling response.
