Aluminum widening arm and drive kit for MAXX

This 88 pcs aftermarket kit is designed as an RC-scale upgrade for the TRAXXAS MAXX Monster Truck to widen the wheelbase and strengthen the front and rear suspension geometry. The set focuses on replaceable suspension arms, adjustable CVD drive shafts, reinforced hex adapters and steering tie rods to change track width and improve chassis stability during aggressive off-road driving.

The major components are machined from 6061-T6 aluminum with stainless steel fasteners and inserted Delrin collars at critical joints. The kit replaces standard cross-pin linkages with CVD swing joints and thicker axles to improve power transfer while keeping mass relatively low. Two 4mm white Delrin shims are included to trim rear-side clearance where needed.

Installation and tuning role: the parts provide multiple damper mounting positions and adjustable turnbuckles to fine-tune toe and camber. The widened arm locations add 20mm per side to the track, so you'll need to confirm wheel and body clearances before fitting. Bearings sized 8x16x5 are provided to match the thicker axles supplied in this kit.
