Front and rear CVD upgrade for TRAXXAS MAXX

This 20pcs set replaces the stock cross-pin style drive components with constant velocity drive (CVD) joints and reinforced hex adapters for TRAXXAS MAXX monster trucks. The kit combines hardened steel joints with 6061 T6 alloy bodies and increases axle diameter from 6mm to 8mm to handle higher torque loads while aiming to keep component weight low.

The adjustable CVD design allows fine tuning of suspension and driveline geometry; the hex adapters use a claw-style engagement with the wheel hex to remove the pinhole and deliver a firmer mechanical connection. Wheel track is widened by 2mm per side when installed, which affects roll stiffness and handling balance.

Bearings were changed to suit the thicker 8mm axle, and the necessary 8x16x5 bearings are included in the kit. The set is intended as an RC-scale drivetrain upgrade for TRAXXAS MAXX platforms and should be fitted and checked with appropriate wheel and bearing tolerances.

Use this kit where stronger driveline coupling and a wider wheel track are required; confirm bearing fit and alignment during installation to maintain reliability.
