This RC-scale steering upgrade targets the steering rod and servo area on TRAXXAS MAXX models. The kit combines a stainless steel adjustable tie rod with a 25T aluminum servo horn to provide a direct, tunable interface between the舵機 and the steering linkage. Parts are intended for hobby-scale adjustment and tracking, not for full-size vehicles.
Adjustment and tuning are handled in two ways: fit the servo horn on alternate hole positions to change horn throw and leverage, and use the tie rod's opposing threads to lengthen or shorten the linkage for toe and steering-angle calibration. The tie rod features clockwise and counterclockwise threads to allow fine length changes without removing the assembly, and a positioning hole accepts a tool for rapid index adjustment.
Materials focus on reliability in RC environments: the servo horn is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum for a balance of low weight and tensile strength, while the tie rod is stainless steel to reduce flex and resist corrosion. Fasteners included are stainless steel types suited to the small-scale mounting points on the chassis and servo.
