This 2 pcs aluminum fixed gear adapter is an RC-scale replacement part designed for TRAXXAS RUSTLER VXL platforms, intended to stabilise the motor gear alignment and permit fine adjustment of motor to spur pitch. Machined from aluminum 6061 T6, the adapter offers a firmer mounting surface compared to stock plastic parts and provides improved heat displacement around the motor area.

The adapter features five indexed mounting positions labeled A, B, C, D, E to change the motor pinion to spur spacing without altering the gearbox or motor mount. Using different hole positions lets you tune driveline engagement to reduce unwanted binding and maintain consistent gear mesh under load. The part is supplied as a 2 pcs set to cover both sides where applicable.

Installation is a mechanical swap at the motor mount interface, intended to be used with existing motor, pinion gear, spur gear, and mounting hardware; no additional tools or adapters are included. Keep the assembly clean and verify mesh across the full suspension travel when fitting to ensure stable operation.
