This GPM aftermarket set is an RC-scale upgrade designed for TRAXXAS Slash platforms, combining shortened aluminum shocks with reinforced drivetrain and wider track geometry to support a lower center of gravity (LCG) setup. The kit groups front and rear shocks, steel #45 hardened axle components, spring-steel hex wideners, rubber tires on plastic rims, and the collars and fasteners needed to adapt geometry and body clearance.

The front shocks are shorter at 75mm and the rear shocks at 80mm as supplied, allowing the chassis to ride closer to the track surface when fitted. Spring options are included with two coil thicknesses: gold springs at 2.6mm and silver at 2.2mm, enabling straightforward tuning of compression and ride height by swapping springs or adjusting the top screw preload. CVD drives are built with hardened steel #45 internals and 6061-T6 aluminum bodies for a balance of stiffness and weight.

Widening is achieved via spring-steel hex wideners that add 3mm per side (+6mm total) to the wheel offset, increasing lateral stability. Rubber tires on the supplied plastic rims provide predictable contact and steering feel for flat-surface, high-speed runs. Note that this is an RC accessory intended only for model use.

When lowering the body with these shocks, body-shell clearance to the tire can become limited; aluminium collars are included to space the body posts from the shock mount and adjust the shock angle. Recommended collar arrangements from the source information are: at maximum body height use 8mm front and 12mm rear collars, and at minimum body height use 12mm front and 16mm rear collars to avoid shell-to-tire interference.
