Aluminium adapter and steel gear set

This is an RC-scale aluminium gear adapter paired with hardened steel gears designed for TRAXXAS Slash 4X4 LOW-CG platforms, intended to replace the stock gear interface on the 68086-21 version. The combination uses a 32-pitch 54T spur gear matched to a 15T motor gear in this set, with both components supplied as a single kit for drivetrain tuning and consistent power transfer.

The aluminium adapter positions the spur gear with a lower center of gravity profile compatible with the listed Slash 4X4 LOW-CG layout, while the hardened steel spur and motor gear provide wear resistance compared with softer materials. Use this set when you need predictable gear engagement and a stable gear ratio baseline for setup changes.

Provided gear ratios for the 54T spur with common pinion sizes are listed to help tuning decisions, exact ratios depend on the chosen motor gear:
