Low-CG aluminium gear adapter for Slash 4X4

This upgrade set replaces the stock gear interface on TRAXXAS SLASH 4X4 setups that use the 68086-21 version adapter, providing an aluminium low-centre-of-gravity adapter combined with hardened steel 32 pitch gears for consistent torque delivery across runs.

The aluminium adapter reduces flex at the mounting point while the hardened steel 56T spur and 18T motor gear resist wear compared with standard plastics, making gear engagement more predictable during acceleration and sustained high-load use in RC bashing or track sessions.

Changing the pinion gear adjusts final drive ratios for tuning acceleration versus top speed; the set is supplied with a 56T spur and supports common pinion tooth counts on 32 pitch systems, producing the following example ratios:

• 56T with 13T = 1:4.307
• 56T with 14T = 1:4.000
• 56T with 15T = 1:3.733
• 56T with 16T = 1:3.500
• 56T with 17T = 1:3.294
• 56T with 18T = 1:3.111
• 56T with 19T = 1:2.947
• 56T with 20T = 1:2.800
