This is an RC-scale replacement rear CVD drive shaft set designed for TRAXXAS Slash platforms, provided as an aftermarket part by GPM. The assembly combines stainless steel 304 axle joints with an aluminum 6061-T6 body to balance corrosion resistance and tensile strength while keeping weight low for 1/10 scale drivetrain use.

Key design points are focused on durability and drivetrain protection. The axle joints are made from stainless steel 304 and are enclosed by a protective axle design to reduce exposure to impacts and debris. Silicon O-rings at the joint interface help reduce shock transfer to the CVD under hard landings. The shaft bodies use anodized aluminum alloy 6061-T6 and are manufactured slightly thicker than stock to extend service life without affecting fitment.

Installation notes: the set is intended for rear gearbox-to-wheel drive on the listed Slash models, and the supplied 3mm steel hex shims are an optional fitment component that can be used to adjust wheel hex engagement. When replacing stock shafts, check wheel hex spacing and secure fasteners to manufacturer torque recommendations for your model. This product is intended for RC use only and for 1/10 scale applications.
