This RC-scale servo horn is a direct aftermarket option produced for TRAXXAS TRX4 platforms, built to influence steering response and to add a spring-based impact buffer between the horn and the servo output spline. The arm uses 6061 T6 aluminum for a balance of light weight and tensile strength while the straight-arm geometry increases structural stiffness during steering loads.
Key tuning roles are straightforward: the built-in spring cushions sudden forces to help protect the steering gear, and the four positioning holes provide lateral adjustment of tie-rod attachment points for fine steering ratio and roll-centre changes. Because the spring assembly increases local thickness, check clearance when mounting in the TRX-4 factory servo location; for some TRX-4 configurations the support tie rods need to be reversed to clear the horn without interfering with the front reverse steering gear.
The set includes the primary mounting parts needed for installation and basic fit-up: servo horn, stainless mounting screws, an aluminum collar, and a 3mm metal washer. Use the positioning holes to dial in toe and steering sensitivity, and verify mechanical clearance before final assembly after any geometry changes.
