Aluminum battery strap for TRX4

This aluminum battery strap is an RC-scale accessory built to secure on-board batteries while supporting passive heat dissipation. It uses a center-hollow layout to accept different battery profiles, including vertical and humpback styles commonly used in 7.2V and 8.4V packs.

The main plate is machined from 6061 T6 aluminum to help spread heat away from the battery case, and a thin foam pad is included to take up slack when thinner packs are fitted. Hardware supplied for mounting includes a 3x23.5 king pin screw and a single battery hold-down foam piece, allowing standard installation without extra parts.

From a tuning perspective this strap stabilizes battery placement to maintain consistent weight distribution during low-speed crawling and trail runs, and the open center reduces contact surface to assist passive cooling under prolonged load.

Designed for scale trail rigs, the alloy strap offers a compact, serviceable fix for battery retention and basic thermal management on compatible TRAXXAS platforms.
