This RC-scale pendulum wheel weight is made for the TRAXXAS TRX4 Trail Crawler platform and combines an aluminum outer body with removable stainless steel rolling beads to shift mass downward on each wheel. The design places additional weight low and outward on the knuckle outer case to increase wheel bite on low-lying or soft terrain while preserving pendulum motion.

The set includes a 23mm hex adapter that is wider than the original hex, a multi-piece bead system for stepwise weight tuning, and associated mounting hardware supplied with the kit. Each wheel assembly accepts up to eight removable stainless steel beads, each bead weighing about 4g, producing a per-piece range of approximately 44–64 grams when fully populated.

Installation locates the pendulum weight onto the front and rear outer case of the wheel knuckles, retaining pendulum movement so the added mass naturally seeks the lowest point during suspension travel. Adjust bead count to tune low-speed traction and the balance between grip and responsiveness; the manufacturer recommends keeping at least three beads for consistent performance.

This kit is intended to tune wheel bite and low-speed crawling stability on the TRX4 by adding controlled, downward-oriented mass at each wheel while allowing incremental adjustment through removable beads.
