This is an RC-scale aluminum servo horn and steering link kit produced for TRAXXAS TRX4 Trail Crawler users, supplied by GPM TRX416025. The 8pcs set replaces the stock plastic horn and linkage to reduce flex and improve steering responsiveness when the model uses a straight steering arm layout.
The steering link features a counter-clockwise (CCW) threaded tie rod that allows straightforward length adjustment without altering ball end seating, helping fine-tune toe and steering bias. Mid-point measurement between both ball ends is 77.5mm, a useful reference when setting geometry or swapping components.
Included hardware and brief notes: the kit ships with stainless steel mounting screws and a lock nut for installation, the main parts are aluminum for reduced wear compared with original plastic, and the set is intended for scale trail crawling setups on TRX4 chassis where a firmer steering feel is desired.
Installation and tuning role: install the aluminum horn in place of the plastic original using the supplied screws, check servo spline alignment before final tightening, and use the CCW tie rod to adjust length incrementally while testing steering centring and travel. The kit is a direct upgrade to address plastic arm weakness and to offer a more consistent steering response during low-speed crawling.
