This is an RC-scale brass outer portal drive housing set designed for the TRAXXAS TRX4 Trail Crawler platform, supplied under GPM part TRX4021X/2. The heavy edition housings increase unsprung mass at each wheel to change how the model behaves while crawling and recovering from low, soft or irregular terrain.

Core function and effects: each outer housing adds 50 g of weight per wheel, which helps stabilise wheel contact, broadens the effective crawling angle and assists a stuck axle to regain ground contact and return to level.
