This GPM aftermarket rear CVD drive shaft set is designed for the TRAXXAS TRX6 MERCEDES-BENZ scale chassis and focuses on replacing the rear drive shaft area with a mixed steel and aluminium construction. The kit keeps the assembly compact for RC-scale fit while using alloy 6061 T6 combined with steel where strength is needed.

Functionally the component transfers motor torque into the drivetrain at the rear axle and is intended as a direct replacement or upgrade for models that use the TRX6 rear drive layout. Installation requires basic teardown of the rear driveline, confirmation of fit against existing yokes and bearings, and proper seating of the included silicone rings and stainless pins to avoid play.

For setup and tuning, check prop shaft alignment under suspension droop, avoid overtightening the retaining screws to prevent deformation of the silicone rings, and verify smooth rotation before full-power testing. This part is made for RC model use only.
