This GPM UDRZSP567 set provides an 18pc stainless steel skid plate solution designed for Traxxas 1:7 Unlimited Desert Racer Pro-Scale models. The pack uses 1mm and 2mm stainless steel 304 plates placed across the front, center and rear chassis areas to reduce direct impacts to the chassis shell and battery cover during aggressive off road running.

Hardware included in the kit supports direct replacement of the original plastic protection or adds an extra metal layer where needed. Two POM collars are supplied to sit between a protection plate and the rear axle case to stabilise the mount, and double-sided tape sections are pre-applied around the battery cover area to improve adhesion when fitted.

Installation is straightforward: remove the original screws where the plates mount, position the plates and secure using the supplied screws. The kit contains round head and flat head screws in the sizes listed in the original item contents, and the POM collars are used where noted to prevent contact with moving parts. For the best bond when using the double-sided tape, clean and dry the chassis surface and warm the tape and battery cover with a hair dryer before pressing in place.
