Front skid plate for Unlimited Desert Racer

This is an RC-scale front skid plate made for the Traxxas Unlimited Desert Racer 1:7 Pro-Scale platform, supplied as an aftermarket kit by GPM UDRZSP5. The plate is fabricated from 2mm 304 stainless steel to provide a corrosion-resistant barrier for the gearbox area and lower chassis panels, and it uses a brushed metallic finish for a clean visual match to metal accessories.

The kit is intended to reduce direct impact and abrasion on the gearbox and chassis when driving over rocks, packed sand, or other coarse terrain at model scale speeds. It mounts to the stock screw points and uses the supplied fasteners so no additional hardware is required.

Installation is straightforward: remove the original screws at the mounting points, align the skid plate, and secure it with the provided flat head screws. Verify all screws are tightened to a suitable clearance for your setup and re-check after the first run.

Kit contents are provided with the product and include the skid plate and the fasteners required for direct replacement of the original lower plate.
