Rear axle case protection plate

This GPM rear axle case protection plate is an RC-scale replacement part designed to protect the centre chassis area on the Unlimited Desert Racer. The plate is fabricated from 1mm 304 stainless steel to resist abrasion from trail debris and to keep the underside of the rear axle case stable during high-speed runs.

Included hardware supports a direct swap into the stock mounting points: the kit provides one protection plate, two round head screws (3x12) and two POM collars that sit between the plate and the axle case to prevent metal-to-metal contact and help keep the fitment tight.

Installation is straightforward, remove the original screws, position the POM collars between plate and axle case, then secure the plate using the supplied screws. The plate’s metal finish also gives the chassis underside a uniform appearance while serving a practical protective role rather than altering vehicle dynamics.
