Hardened CVD and wheel hex for X-MAXX

This upgrade set replaces the original plastic wheel hex and stock CVD components on TRAXXAS X-MAXX scale models with hardened steel CVD joints and anodized aluminum wheel hexes, intended for RC use only. The hardened steel CVD joints reduce wear compared with plastic parts, while anodized aluminum wheel hexes add corrosion and scratch resistance to the hub area. Stainless steel fasteners are supplied to improve mounting security and reduce the chance of loosening under heavy use.

The kit is suitable for vehicles running 6S and 8S setups as specified, and is intended as a drivetrain durability and reliability upgrade rather than a tuning item that changes geometry. Installation replaces the stock CVDs and wheel hex assemblies and uses the provided pins and screws for secure attachment.

Included hardware as supplied in the product source: stainless steel pin 3x20 - 2 pcs, stainless steel pin 3.5x20 - 2 pcs, stainless steel screw pin M5x4x20 - 2 pcs, screw shaft 5x5 - 2 pcs, plus the wheel hex and CVD components to form the complete set.
