Trumpeter 05541 - 1/35 Soviet IT-1 Missile tank  [TP05541]

  The IT-1 had been a Soviet cold war missile tank based around the hull for the T-62. The tank fired especially created 3M7 Drakon missiles from a pop-up launcher. It saw very limited service between 1968 and 1970. The large deadzone round the tank developed by the missiles' minimal range with the restricted level of ammo carried made it unpopular with the armed forces. Additionally the 520 kilograms of guidance gear required the missile ended up being not practical. Sooner or later these were became recovery cars.
