This is a 1:72 scale plastic model kit of the German JagdTiger Sd.Kfz.186 using the Henschel chassis, featuring a representation of Zimmerit surface coating and sized for display-scale modelling.
The JagdTiger originated as a heavy tank destroyer project in 1943, with a wooden mock-up shown to Adolf Hitler on 20 October 1943. Its role was long-range anti-armor support for infantry and armoured formations. Two prototype variants were completed in February 1944 - one with Porsche suspension and one with Henschel suspension (the latter using nine roadwheels). Designated initially Jagdpanzer VI, it later received the designation Sd.Kfz.186. Full production began in mid-1944 but proceeded slowly as Panther production took priority.
The kit presents the JagdTiger exterior at 1:72 scale, with Zimmerit texture represented on hull surfaces. Assembly is typical of small-scale injection-moulded kits: parts are organised across multiple sprues, with a parts count that keeps the build manageable for modellers experienced with sub-1:48 scales. The small overall footprint makes the finished model suitable for dioramas or shelf display where space is limited.
Panel lines and cast surface textures are modelled to convey the vehicle's heavy-armour appearance. The Zimmerit texture requires careful painting and possible preshading to convey depth at this scale. Decal markings are provided for Germany ARMY, and the kit's compact part count helps reduce alignment issues common in denser small-scale armour kits.
A compact 1:72 representation of the Henschel-produced JagdTiger, the kit focuses on external detail and manageable assembly for display-oriented modellers and collectors interested in late-war German armoured vehicles.
