This aftermarket roof skid rail is an RC-scale accessory produced for the VANQUISH H10 Optic platform and supplied by GPM as H10015TOP. Machined from 7075-T6 aluminum, the rail mounts to the top of the body to protect the shell edge and provide a stable contact surface where the body meets external obstacles during handling and transport.
The kit arrives with the main rails pre-assembled to speed installation. Included fasteners are grade 12.9 black cap head screws (3x14) intended to secure the rail to existing body posts or mount points. For reliable retention under vibration, a medium-strength screw adhesive is recommended to prevent loosening without making future removal difficult.
On setup and tuning, this part serves two practical roles: it shields the top-body edge from repeated impacts and it gives a predictable wear surface that can simplify body alignment checks after track runs.
