The XRAY 303754-C motor mount combines the motor and layshaft supports in a single machined component positioned on the chassis centre line to preserve balance and symmetry. The design locates the motor forward of the layshaft and uses a pressed-in steel layshaft axle to keep alignment under load.
Alignment features include 3mm centering pins that secure the assembly even when a single mounting screw is used, reducing movement during impacts without relying on multiple fasteners. The top face is machined with dedicated holes to match XRAY's precision top deck screws so the top deck sits true and contributes predictable flex behavior.
For routine setup and tuning the mount provides a top-access eccentric bulkhead insert that allows gear mesh changes without removing the whole mount. Lower fastener holes are countersunk to accept standard hardware variations, simplifying installation across chassis layouts while keeping the unit rugged enough to resist deformation in hard impacts.
Manufactured from Swiss 7075 T6 aluminum and finished with black anodizing, the component is intended for RC-scale racing use where low centre of gravity, repeatable geometry, and quick gear mesh adjustment matter for setup and handling.
This mount is a direct replacement part for X4F builds where a low mounted motor, integrated layshaft support, and top-access gear mesh adjustment are required to tune chassis balance and flex response.
