The X4F engine and layshaft mounts are built-into a one-piece design that is placed on the absolute center line of the framework. The engine mount has a pressed-in steel layshaft axle aided by the engine situated towards the front for the layshaft. The engine mount was created to keep a super low CG it is nevertheless robust enough to resist bending in severe crashes.
