The XRAY 336157 Carbon Battery Plate Adjustable Weight Balance Set is an RC-scale accessory designed to give quick, track-side control over front/rear weight distribution without disassembling the car. The weight system is integrated into the battery plate so changes can be made while the model remains assembled, speeding up setup cycles between runs.
The set includes a precision CNC-machined carbon battery plate made from USA-made carbon fiber and two 15g stainless steel weights. The weights can be positioned forward or rearward on the plate to alter balance and handling; two additional optional 15g weights (#336158) are accepted for extended tuning range. When up to three weights are used the balance is adjustable, and when all four are installed the weights are retained in fixed positions.
Installation focuses on convenience and preserving chassis behavior: the design mounts weights to the battery plate without requiring removal of chassis parts and without negatively affecting chassis flex characteristics. This lets tuners change handling bias with minimal downtime while maintaining predictable suspension response.
