The XRAY 338002-K aluminium shock absorber set is a 20.8mm short-body shock kit supplied as 2 pcs, built for NT1 series 1/10 on-road RC cars. The design pairs shorter shock bodies with shorter shafts to stabilise suspension behaviour across changing track conditions, aiming to deliver more predictable up and down travel for improved corner speed and steering response.

Precision-moulded pistons are included in both 2-hole and 3-hole configurations and in three bore sizes: 1.0mm, 1.1mm and 1.2mm, allowing fine tuning of flow and damping characteristics without replacing major components. Pistons are produced from white Delrin to preserve roundness and stiffness for long-term, consistent damping.

Shock bodies are CNC-machined from Swiss 7075 T6 aluminium and surface hardened to extend service life. External fine threading on the bodies enables quick and precise ride height and preload adjustment, while low-profile membranes provide smooth and repeatable damping action under varied conditions.

Use this set to refine suspension tuning where shorter shock travel and stable damping are required, and combine piston and oil choices to dial in mid-corner and exit behaviour.
