The XRAY 351141 GTEX aluminium chassis is an RC-scale replacement chassis machined from Swiss 7075 T6 aluminium, presented in a completely flat 3mm profile without the traditional front kick-up. The flat layout lowers the centre of gravity and aims to deliver a more stable platform for precise on-road setups.
Manufactured using precision CNC processes, the chassis preserves consistent flex characteristics by optimising material placement across the length of the plate. Integrated milling pockets reduce mass where possible while maintaining stiffness where structural support is required, and additional milled features help airflow around the electronics bay for improved cooling.
As a tuning component for the GTXE 2027 platform, this chassis changes baseline handling by shifting the roll behaviour and lowering the chassis height relative to suspension pick-up points. Expect adjustments to suspension and weight distribution to be the primary ways to re-balance handling after installation.
Use the GTEX flat chassis when aiming for lower centre of gravity and more repeatable flex behaviour on competitive on-road tracks, and pair changes with measured suspension tuning to find the desired balance.
