The Arrowmax AM-NT1-338521 2nd gear is a drop-in replacement pinion designed for XRAY NT1 competition cars, produced in 7075-T6 aluminium with a hard coating to resist wear in on-track use. It is intended for RC-scale drivetrains and matches the NT1 spur geometry produced for this chassis.
Use this gear when adjusting final drive ratio or replacing a worn second gear; swapping teeth counts alters acceleration and top-end balance so retain records of stock and new tooth counts during tuning. Available tooth counts in the same family include 16T through 23T, allowing incremental ratio changes without altering other drivetrain parts.
Installation notes: fit the gear on the NT1 second shaft, verify concentric seating and correct axial location, then set pinion-to-spur mesh to minimal, even clearance across the face to avoid premature wear. After installation, perform a short break-in at moderate loads and re-check mesh and fastener torque before full-power runs.
