Front suspension mount for BD7/BD5

This is an RC-scale front suspension arm mount supplied by Yokomo as model BD-301RF1. It is machined from blue anodized aluminum and intended to replace or upgrade the front arm mount on BD7 and BD5 touring car chassis. The left-to-right suspension arm pin pitch is 41.3mm, a key measurement when matching replacement parts and setting suspension geometry.

Functionally this mount serves as a rigid connection point for the front suspension arms, influencing front-end stiffness and the way the chassis responds to steering inputs and track irregularities. In practical tuning it can be used to fine-tune roll centre and front-end bite by combining it with different arm lengths, hinge-pin positions, and shock settings without altering the car’s core chassis.

Installation notes: verify the 41.3mm pin pitch aligns with your existing hinge pins before fitting, check for interference with the steering link and shock towers, and torque fasteners to appropriate RC hobby levels to avoid loosening under use. As with all RC parts, fitment should be confirmed on the bench before first on-track testing.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
It is specified for BD7 and BD5 chassis; confirm the 41.3mm hinge-pin pitch matches your suspension before purchase.
The 41.3mm pitch is the spacing between left and right suspension arm pins and determines correct alignment and suspension geometry when fitting the mount.
Test-fit on the bench, ensure no steering or shock interference, and secure fasteners with an appropriate thread locker if needed for track use.
