Rear suspension arm mount for BD7/BD5

This is a blue anodized aluminum front suspension mount used on the rear side of the suspension assembly for Yokomo BD-series touring car chassis. It is an RC-scale accessory intended to change how the rear suspension arm pins locate and to provide a serviceable mounting point when setting rear suspension geometry.

The left and right suspension arm pin pitch is 47.1mm when this mount is fitted. With the standard front suspension mount fitted at the front mounting position, the resulting suspension arm pin angle measures 3.5 degrees. The mount is offered as a direct replacement part to retain stock geometry or to be swapped with alternative pitch mounts to alter pin angle for tuning.

Installation is mechanical and fits the same mounting locations used by the BD-series arm mounts. When tuning, note that changing the pin pitch will alter roll center and rear toe characteristics, so verify setup changes incrementally and test on the track to assess handling differences.

Compatibility

  • Yokomo BD7
  • Yokomo BD5

Yes, it replaces the standard rear-side front suspension mount and uses the same arm pin locations on BD5.
The 47.1mm pitch sets the stock rear arm pin angle to about 3.5 degrees with the standard front mount, influencing roll center and rear grip characteristics.
Yes, swapping to different pitch mounts adjusts the arm pin angle without replacing the suspension arm itself.
