This accessory converts the BD5 center one-way main gear adapter into a direct main gear adapter, removing the one-way mechanism to create a direct-drive connection in the center assembly of the drivetrain. It is an RC-scale replacement part intended for on-road models where a direct main gear is required for tuning or specific setup preferences.

The adapter is supplied with the axle pin needed for installation. Installation affects the center drivetrain behaviour by eliminating the freewheeling action of the one-way unit, which changes how power is transferred under coasting and reverse loading. The part is useful when adjusting traction and handling characteristics through drivetrain configuration rather than suspension or differential tuning.

Installation notes: check the center assembly clearances, verify alignment of the main gear with the spur gear and pinion gear, and secure retaining hardware to recommended torque for your chassis.
