Green Slime Grease for RC Dampers and O-rings

This Yokomo C-1105A grease is formulated for scale RC oil dampers and their O-rings, providing a tacky lubricant that helps stabilise seals during assembly and maintenance. Applied sparingly to the O-ring lip, the grease reduces the tendency of the seal to swell from repeated contact with silicone damping oil, which helps preserve O-ring dimensions and fit.

Because the material is relatively adhesive, it also serves general workshop roles where a sticky lubricant is preferred, such as light seal conditioning, sliding plastic interfaces, and temporary holding of small parts during setup. Use a small amount to avoid attracting excessive dust or grit; wipe excess from exposed parts after installation.

Installation: apply a thin, even coat to the O-ring surface before seating it in the damper shaft or cap, then assemble the damper as normal. For routine damper tuning sessions, reapply only when seals are cleaned or replaced to maintain consistent damping behaviour.
