Kingpin ball for drift A-arms

This Yokomo IB-414KB1A kingpin ball is an RC-scale accessory designed for A-arms such as DRB and DIB that need a slightly higher ball neck to correct geometry or avoid interference at high camber. The neck is 1mm taller than standard, providing a small but useful change in arm angle without altering the arm itself.

The threaded portion follows the 3mm ISO standard and mates with aluminum steering blocks that accept that thread form. Use these when the stock ball base contacts the arm during extreme camber or when you want to tweak upper or lower arm angles for steering feel and tyre contact patch.

Installation is straightforward: remove the original kingpin ball from the A-arm or steering block, thread the IB-414KB1A into the steering block or ball mount, and check for clearance through the full suspension travel. Verify no binding on the ball base and confirm roll center and camber behavior on a test run before final tightening.
