Rear Shock Spring for Pitching Dampers

This Yokomo R12-18RSSH rear shock spring is a super hard copper spring intended for use on the pitching damper of R12 and GT series 1/10 scale RC cars. It is supplied as a tuning part to change damper feedback and increase suspension top-end stiffness without altering damper internals.

Fitment and function: the spring is used where a higher spring rate is needed to reduce pitch and improve stability during heavy acceleration or braking transitions. It is a direct replacement style component for models that share the R12/GT shock geometry and mounting dimensions.

Installation notes: install like a standard coil spring on the rear shock assembly, ensure correct preload and check for full travel clearance after fitting. When switching to a super hard spring, retune damping and rebound to avoid underdamped behaviour and to maintain predictable traction.
