Left rear wheel hub ver.2 for R12

The Yokomo R12-24HL2 is an RC-scale left rear wheel hub designed specifically for the R12 chassis. This ver.2 revision repositions the clamp from the wheel-mount surface to the bulkhead side and integrates a counterbalanced form that offsets the mass of the mounting screws.

Moving the clamp to the bulkhead side reduces rotational wobble by improving local weight balance, which in turn helps maintain more consistent tyre contact during rotation and can improve traction behavior on the track. Because the clamp sits on the bulkhead side, the hub can be removed or installed while the wheel remains attached, simplifying wet or quick pit adjustments.

The ver.2 shape also allows faster swaps of the height adapter when changing tyre diameter, so ride-height adjustments and corner-weight tuning can be performed more quickly during setup sessions. Fitment is described explicitly for the Yokomo R12 chassis.

The part is specified for the R12 chassis only, confirm fitment before attempting installation on other models.
Yes, the bulkhead-side clamp design permits hub removal and installation while the wheel is still mounted, simplifying quick adjustments.
The counterbalanced geometry offsets screw mass to reduce rotational wobble, helping maintain consistent tyre contact and improving traction response.
