The Yokomo RP-08515KA Racing Performer Ultra diff oil #15000 is a silicone-based diff oil formulated for gear differentials used in electric RC cars and similar scale models, intended to provide consistent damping and lubrication under increased drivetrain load.

Because modern brushless motors and LiPo packs push drivetrains harder, this oil's high viscosity helps maintain a stable oil film inside the differential so behaviour remains predictable from the start to the finish of an event, without premature oil migration.

Installation is the same as other silicone diff oils: drain the existing fluid, clean the diff internals and bearings, then refill to the manufacturer's recommended level for your diff case. For tuning, using #15000 will increase locked behaviour compared with lighter oils, so adjust springs, tyres, and driving style accordingly to achieve the desired handling balance.
