Precision titanium ball end

This Yokomo YOKRP-101SH ball end is an RC-scale linkage component sized for 4.8 S-size applications with an 11.5mm ball end length, manufactured in titanium for a balance of strength and reduced mass. It is intended for use on steering and suspension linkage assemblies where compact S-size connections are used.

In practice the ball end functions as the terminal joint between turnbuckles or linkage rods and ball studs on servo horns, suspension arms, or bulkheads. Its titanium body resists deformation under typical model loads and helps maintain consistent geometry during setup and track use.

Installation is straightforward: thread the ball end onto compatible S-size rod threads until secure, then seat the ball onto the mating stud ensuring full engagement without excess preload. Verify free articulation through the intended range of motion and recheck after initial runs to confirm there is no loosening.

For tuning, use this ball end when you need a compact, lightweight terminal that preserves steering and suspension geometry; small changes in ball end length affect throw and toe link geometry, so adjust incrementally and test on the track or field to evaluate handling differences.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
It is specified for 4.8 S-size linkages with an 11.5mm ball end length, suitable for S-size turnbuckles and compatible rod threads.
Titanium provides a favorable strength-to-weight ratio for RC linkages; choose it when you want reduced mass at the linkage ends without sacrificing rigidity.
Periodically check for thread tightness and ball engagement, remove debris, and inspect for play; replace if any excessive wear appears.
