The RP Ultra Shock Oil series has been updated with finer viscosity increments at common weights and a color-coded system to simplify selection during setup. This #27.5 light green variant is a silicone-based shock oil supplied in a 40cc bottle and intended specifically for RC-scale shock absorbers.
In practice the oil serves a straightforward tuning role: it alters damping speed and piston flow characteristics inside shock bodies, helping to refine handling balance and response on track or at practice. The color coding helps you keep multiple bottles organized when testing different damping setups.
Do not use this product outside RC models; it is formulated for model suspension service only. Follow your shock kit instructions for safe filling and bleed procedures to avoid trapped air and inconsistent damping.
